Pre-Screening Before Your Appointment

In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Dental Association, we have implemented a pre-screening process to prioritize your safety and that of your family. Here's what you can expect:

1. When you arrive at My Bloomingdale Dentist, please remain in your vehicle.
2. Call us at 224-520-8665 to let us know you've arrived.
3. A member of our dedicated team, wearing a face covering, will approach your vehicle to perform a COVID-19 screening. This includes asking questions about travel, symptoms, and potential exposure.
4. Your personal dentist, Dr. Henry Kim DMD, will then take your temperature while maintaining appropriate social distancing.
5. We'll kindly ask you to complete a COVID screening acknowledgment form and provide your signature.
6. Once the form is signed, please wear your face covering from your vehicle as we personally escort you to the treatment chair.

Sterilization and Disinfection

At My Bloomingdale Dentist, your safety has always been our top priority. We maintain meticulous sterilization methods that exceed recommended guidelines. Rest assured, we continue to do so before and after every patient appointment to enhance your protection.

Our office adheres to the OSHA-approved spray/wipe/spray protocol for disinfection, and we use disposable barriers on all frequently touched surfaces. Sterilization is regularly tested to ensure our environment remains safe and sterile.

A Different Look Than Usual

Due to the changes brought about by the COVID-19 crisis, you may notice our dedicated team wearing additional personal protective equipment (PPE), including N95 face masks and face shields. Please understand that appointments may take slightly longer than usual to ensure the thorough execution of these protective measures and to maintain social distancing at all times.
